New York, New Yooooorrkkkkkkk! What? You can't hear me singing? Oh too bad. Anyways, this post is LONG overdue. I went to NY a few weeks back on a modeling gig, and here is my photo diary! I was there for less than 24 hours, but I still got to see the sights!
To make a long story REALLY short; I arrived in NY at 11 PM, made it to my hotel by 1 AM, went to sleep (made a video first...), woke up at 5 AM took a taxi cab across town to the Hudson river, then Central Park to do some field sketches, visited Times Square, then Waverly Place, passing through upper west side, then upper east side, then met with some potential clients, BACK down to manhattan to do my shoot, finished in 2 hours, went to the art galleries, visited 26 galleries, took a cab to JFK, flew back home :]
Here's the video I made for my friends, yes I am really excited and eccentric :P
I gotta say, I love it in NY. It's just the place to be for artists. My architect side just wants to jump for joy, the artist in me wants to sit on a bench and draw for days, and the fashion blogger inside just giggles in glee seeing all the fashionable people there. I can't wait to go back! Hopefully this time with Bethany :] Talk about separation anxiety.
Some quick sketches I did at central park before I froze my hands off.
Trump Palace
Central Park is so beautiful, I feel like I could spend a whole day there.
Waverly place!!!! I did not run into any wizards, sorely disappointed.
City camo? Brilliant!
gotta love street art
Even in NY Bethany was still with me :] (snakes = Snakesnest) :D :D
I came home to a package from
getwear.com, to find my two custom made jeans inside! Thanks

My boys came to pick me up from the airport! And they took me there :]
