  1. Favorite Halloween movie has to be Hocus Pocus. It's a true classic. I had the biggest crush on the human form of Zachary Binx when I was a kid - even named a cat after him.

As for my costume, I managed to find a really awesome vintage beaded dress at a thrift store that's going to make killer flapper attire. Lacks creativity but will at least be comfy to party in!

  3. My absolute favorite movie to watch during halloween time is probably the nightmare before christmas, it's a classic! the colors in the movie are just stunning. For halloween, i plan on dressing up as a sailor! I'm going to wear a sailor hat, an altru tank with an anchor and flags on it that i picked up from urban outfitters, a navy blue cardigan, some jean cutoffs, and a pair of boaties. all topped off with some fake tattoos of course!

  4. My favorite movie to watch this time of year would have to be family oriented movies. Any movie that is geared towards family such as learning life lessons through "The Pursuit of Happiness" or rewatching 50/50 and learning about the importance of family.

For Halloween I am dressing up as a viking. I was going to try to dress up as a pirate, but I knew nothing about vikings so I went for that. :)

  5. The best movie to watch is Casper and Edward Scizzorhands --Or Nightmare Before Christmas...But I usually watch that one and The Adam's Family on Christmas Eve... Both are super cute and not scary at all. Good too since I'm no good with scary movies, I need someone there to hold my hand and bury my face in...

And for Halloween? I don't celebrate it. I just dress up as me. How much scarier can I get? :)

    XOXO

  6. I usually try to avoid TV around this time of the year because I'm not the biggest fan of scary movies. However, Charlie Brown has always had a place in my heart like none other.

This year for Halloween, I'm dressing up as Totoro from the Miyazaki movie, and I'm taking my bunny around with me as the little white bunny that's with Totoro. I just hope my professors don't find a bunny being in the class too disturbing.

  8. The Haunted Mansion! spooky but still family oriented(: and funnyyy^^ I'll be dressing up as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. Why don't you try dressing up as Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries? With your chiseled jawline, it would be a perfect halloween dress up! but then again, that's just my opinion(: have a great october too Peter!^^

  9. I would choose Sweeney Todd! Even though I watched it already, I would watch it over and over again. I'm just a freak for any musicals, and the creepy atmosphere of the whole movie is just perfect for Halloween! As for dressing up, I would go as the joker from batman, even though it's overdone, I love the character!
    Happy Halloween! :)

I don't really think that I have the guts to watch the others.. heehee
Too bad there's no Halloween Party in my country like you guys in the USA. :( If there's a halloween party, i'll dress up as an Ichimatsu doll..

  12. I wanna see Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride". It's interesting. It's dark, romantic, musical, creepy and stuff.

For the Halloween, I'd like to dress up as the bride (of course) in the "Courpse Bride" and maybe I can get my brother to dress up as my partner. This will be our peg: http://anniestoll.tumblr.com/post/11215601616/best-cosplay-ever

  13. Love your movie choices! As for me, I love watching Hocus Pocus this time of year! Disney has been playing it ever since I remember and it just brings back great (yet spooky) memories every time. :)
My friends and I are doing an "Adventure Time" theme this year and I'm going to dress up as Finn the human... which includes making my own hat, what joy.

  14. I grew up watching an old animated movie called "The Snowman," so watching that in this time of year really brings back warm memories :)

This year, I'm going to be Domo-kun! This is a picture of my costume: http://www.costumenation.com/domo-adult-costume_800929.aspx. I'm gonna dress up for a Harvest Festival at my church on Halloween. Hopefully the kids love Domo as much as I do!

  15. I'm not a big fan of scary movies. The last scary movie I ever remember watching was "The Ring." I do like to watch some zombie movies. My favorite has been the "Resident Evil" series. The game is scary, but not as scary as Silent Hill. Now that one is creepy and scary.

    I don't do Halloween either...hahah I've never been a big fan of it. :/

  16. I think the best movie to watch in that list would be Edward Scissorhands. I'm not a fan of scary movies so this movie saves the insomnia. But if you're looking for a creepier movie, try Confessions, a Japanese psychological thriller. It's not creepy like The Grudge and stuff but you'll get hooked on it.

This Halloween me and my friends are dressing up as the Disney Princess, but all spooked and scary looking. I'm going as the dead Cinderella with a blue ripped dressed along with ripped white stockings and a long blonde wig.

And oh, for a Halloween movie, Sweeney Todd and Beetlejuice are the best! Freaky! I think I'll dress up as a female Hades from the Disney film Hercules :)

  20. I love that you have Charlie Brown on your list, that is so darn cute. I don't have any favorite movies to watch during this season, but I do love watching scary movies! What I definitely enjoy is the time I spend with the people I love during the holidays!

I'm not sure what I'll be for Halloween but so far this holiday season, I've been a zombie!!! It was amazing fun and my favorite part would probably be putting the make-up on for me, my partner, and my friends! Guess I'll have to come up with something marvelous by the time Halloween night rolls by! You should do a Halloween photoshoot because I would love to see it.

  25. Around halloween they always show random halloween movies that I haven't seen in forever. On Disney channel they show halloweentown. It's a 90's movie that I watched recently. It's kinda cheesy but I find it fun to watch and it makes me think of my childhood. For my costume I'm going to be a self-made superhero named Quiet Storm.I've already bought a belt and jacket.

  30. It would have to be the 'Sixth Sense' for me! I loved the twist at the end which completely took me by surprise. The boy was so cute and all I wanted to do was give him a big ol hug and tell him everything is going to be alright :D Where I live we don't really celebrate halloween, but I wouldn't mind cosplaying as one of the fairies from Tinkerbell.
